THREE COLORS

Our Lady of Health Church, Pi­ran 2021 (No­vem­ber 7th to 30th). Near­ly 1500 glass ob­jects were set up in the old church (orig­i­nat­ing in 13th cen­tu­ry and built right next to the light­house) to re­ac­tu­al­ize the mul­ti­me­dia in­stal­la­tion at Ljubl­jana Cas­tle that Ru­mi­na cre­at­ed in 2001 as a trib­ute to Kieślows­ki’s epony­mous tril­o­gy. Sym­bol­iz­ing our cry for health, har­mo­ny and free­dom, a huge heart-shaped com­po­si­tion filled with laven­der-scent­ed red liq­uid was stand­ing in the cen­tre of the white salty cross de­not­ing en­er­gy lines in our body that har­mo­nize our earth­ly lev­el of ex­is­tence with the all-per­va­sive di­vine rep­re­sent­ed by the white al­tar at the front and the blue tint­ed wa­ter at the sides. This sim­ple yet el­e­gant ex­hi­bi­tion was con­tin­u­ous­ly ac­com­pa­nied with the Preis­ner’s mu­sic from Kieślows­ki’s films.
