THREE COLORS
Our Lady of Health Church, Piran 2021 (November 7th to 30th). Nearly 1500 glass objects were set up in the old church (originating in 13th century and built right next to the lighthouse) to reactualize the multimedia installation at Ljubljana Castle that Rumina created in 2001 as a tribute to Kieślowski’s eponymous trilogy. Symbolizing our cry for health, harmony and freedom, a huge heart-shaped composition filled with lavender-scented red liquid was standing in the centre of the white salty cross denoting energy lines in our body that harmonize our earthly level of existence with the all-pervasive divine represented by the white altar at the front and the blue tinted water at the sides. This simple yet elegant exhibition was continuously accompanied with the Preisner’s music from Kieślowski’s films.
