WHITE BELA BIANCA WEISS

No­vem­ber 5th 2021. Ex­act­ly thir­ty years af­ter her great White Ex­hi­bi­tion in Cankar­jev dom, the na­tion­al cul­tur­al cen­tre in Ljubl­jana, Mi­ran­da set up this homage ex­hi­bi­tion in the old Pi­ran light­house. While in 1991 many peo­ple took part in the ac­com­pa­ny­ing per­for­mances, the event in a for­mer light­house keep­er’s home was rather in­ti­mate but kept the ba­sic el­e­ments of the great one: pre­sent­ing white art­works (i.e. acrylic re­liefs, white-framed macro pho­tos on glass, salt) with a touch of colour (bronze mer­maid sculp­ture, red glass heart, small col­lage reprints in colours of the rain­bow) and in­flu­enc­ing all bod­i­ly sens­es (mu­sic, ether­ic oils, or­gan­ic food & drinks).
